In the opening scene, a bird is flying around over a peaceful landscape while a narration of the origin of Christmas is given. 

The story starts off with elves building furniture. All the elves are hard at work making furniture except for one, a small elf named Timothy Tweedle. Everything seems peaceful and fine until The Southwind came and warned Tibaus about the Northwind. He told Tibaus that The Northwind might harm the village. It cuts back to Timothy Tweedle swinging from a tree and falling down which is something he shouldn’t be doing. Tibaus then gives Tweedle some advice that he should be more careful because the world is dangerous. When Timothy Tweedle goes out to look for Tibaus he gets captured and has to serve as entertainment.
